BAKING PROJECT

School holiday is starting tomorrow, which means high demand for wedding cakes ! A lot of couples are getting married at this time of the year. Here are the cakes for the wedding this weekend. Thank you Adila and Shima for the orders.

The base is peach but somehow my camera was acting up, and didn’t get the exact colours. The heart design is done with a patchwork cutter. It was a long and tedious process, as the pieces are fragile and tend to break. Thanks to my hubby who was helping me while we watch the news in the kitchen. Overall, I’m very happy with the results. ( Ignore the flowers.. store-bought, as usual ).

And this is a simple design, to suit the budget. Not complicated, but I think the ribbon makes it a little more special. More details of the cakes can be found in my Flickr on the left sidebar.
