Sugarpaste & gumpaste class
I’m so happy today, alhamdulillah we completed the first class for basic sugarpaste and gumpaste. The students were Aishah and Sue (check out their blogs for their lovely cupcakes and chocolates). We managed to decorate only one cake each. Much time was spent on showing them how to make marzipan, fondant and how to cover the cakes, and also making some gumpaste flowers. Here are some photos taken this afternoon.
Aishah & Sue, thank you very much for attending my class.. hope you’ll come out with beautiful fondant designs for your products after this.

Zara, they are all experts in cupcakes decorating, I guess it comes naturally to them.. like my hubby said, their work is better than mine !

min,
i love the drapes…your husband maybe right coz some of them are born with this kind of artsy hands but without learning proper technique from someone like you they cant do it the right way…..

wah min.. i am so impressed by both your abilities to teach and your students’ ability to learn. sigh.. i wish i have 1/2 of their artistic flair coz they would make my learning much faster…now very slow and clumsy

Hi Ahmootha, busy ke ? Haven’t heard frm you lately.
Chou, thanks for visiting. How is your baking coming along ?
Yozora, don’t be sad.. I think you are very good at baking your breads and all, after all we are not perfect. We might be good at something, and not so good at the other.. anyway, I’ve seen the snowman that you made earlier, ok what ?
May 20th, 2008 at 11:22 am

Am keeping an eye out on your decorating class. PS.. how much do you charge for the basic sugar paste class? pls let me know via my email if it is not convenient to post it here. will let my friend know if she can afford to come too

Nani, tak leh cakap, rahsia.. hahaha.. yg tu sapu ngan pearl dust. Tengok gambar under ‘my gadgets’. Pearl dust tu campur ngan setitik dua lemon juice. Sapu je, nanti dia akan shine.
